Insetcards™ is a business which is wholly owned by Set Sail Communications, LLC. Founded in 2003, Insetcards has created an innovative approach to direct-mail advertising via postcards, from their novel design ideas to advanced variable data print algorithms and state-of-the-art production methods. So innovative, in fact, that there is a patent pending for the design and processes.

We believe that postcards are the most compelling form of advertisement that we receive, for they are simple, visually appealing, and tangeable. Postcards are able to capture our attention quickly and uniquely. We believe that direct-mail promotions are integral and powerful components in corporate advertising and that in-location, online, and media-based advertisements are complimenatary programs.

Our mission is to provide thought-provoking and compelling promotional postcards to the consumer world. We work closely with our customers to support their projects with care and consideration, so that they are ultimately more successful in achieving their goals and exceeding their expectations.

We are passionate about applying our talents and skills to leverage creativity and technology in all our efforts. The internet continues to grow in its ability to provide connection between people and services to/from remote connections. Digital image processing and printing continues to raise its standards of high quaility at competitive pricing. Information databases are destined to become our greatest assets, providing secure, personalized data that targets advertisements directly at the interested consumers.

Executive Bio:

Brian Batson is the founder and president of Set Sail Communications, LLC (dba Insetcards and Tripcards). He has 25+ years experieince in systems design and development, spanning diverse areas including test instrumentation hardware design, system management of hardware, power, mechanical, cooling, software, and documentation, embedded programming, multi-processor architectures, system-level applications development, and internet-enabled applications. His roles and assignments include being principal developer, project leader, program manager, and chief technology officer. Mr. Batson has worked for large and small companies prior to founding Set Sail Communications, LLC. and enjoys each for their strengths and yes, even their challenges.

Mr. Batson holds an Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He has received several awards and commendations, including "Best Presentation" and "Best Content" from the Innovation Now conference in Portland Oregon. He has three patents, one pending, and one in development. He is also a copyritten writer and is currently developing a story line for a series of children's educational books and products.

Mr. Batson says "what we give of ourselves can last longer than we can - make it something important." A portion of the products and proceeds from Insetcards is given to charities and programs which cultivate growth, learning, and love.
