1. You know better than most just how important referrals are to continued business in the real estate industry. When people, who know you and trust you, share your name with others, you have the opportunity to gain new home buying / selling clients and make additional commissions.
- Referrals are critical, so consider this: send your customers a referral business card in a postcard and ask them to pass it on to their friends, family, colleagues. We can print your customer's name on the back of your card, to formally connect you with them and strengthen the introduction.
2. We, home buyers, rely on your expertise and connections to not only fnd us a home but also make the sale flow as smoothly as possible. We look to you for recommendations and references.
- Strong business partnerships give you the advantage, so consider this: send your clients a double-sided, "home-selling team" business card in a postcard; your business card will be on one side and the business card of your favorite mortgage broker, insurance agent, home inspector, or... will be on the other side. You can show your clients that you can bring even more power to their search and buying process.
3. If we buy it, we'll probably sell it again someday. You'll be the first person we'll call if we remember how to get a hold of you and if we think you are still in the business.
- Repeat business can be your life-blood, so consider this: send your clients a new business card in a postcard and let them know you are still actively working. Perhaps you might include recent sales you've made, or sales in their neighborhood, or new on the market listings.
Don't simply send a postcard with some nice, but forgettable picture. Face it, real estate postcards become clutter - we don't typically keep postcards handy and we certainly don't carry them around with us.
Send a postcard that gives them your business card. They will appreciate the contact and they will remove and keep your business card for when they are ready to contact you. And that's what you really want them to do.
